Inmates at the Shelby County Jail have filed a class action lawsuit, seeking a court-appointed monitor to correct longstanding issues at 201 Poplar.

FOX13 Investigates took the lawsuit allegations against the Shelby County Jail to Bill Powell, the retired Shelby County Criminal Justice Coordinator, who helped fix the jail more than two decades ago.
