A 15-year-old boy has been killed and the rest of his family injured in a Russian airstrike on the Ukrainian city of Zaporizhzhia, local officials said Monday.

Ukrainian officials said the deadly strikes were a further sign that Russia had no intention of halting hostilities.

The year began with a new U.S. president and hope for a ceasefire in the grinding war but instead the fighting continues and the children keep dying.
