Willis penned a three-year, entry-level contract with Nashville on Monday. Willis was selected by the Predators in the fourth round of the 2023 NHL Draft and has continued to put up solid numbers in the OHL.

Quick made some remarkable saves for a goalie of any age, and especially for a 39-year-old, as he celebrated his 800th career game. It was the 63rd shutout of his career, which is 18th most in NHL history and one behind tying Rangers legend Henrik Lundqvist's total.

The Nashville Predators' weekend in New York City did not go well. The rested New York Rangers stomped the Predators 4-0 on Sunday at Madison Square Garden, closing to within two points of the final Eastern Conference wild-card spot.
