Novak Djokovic has been visited twice by a doctor for a stomach issue and given what he called “miracle pills” during a 6-1, 6-7 (7), 6-2, 6-2 victory over Alexandre Muller in Wimbledon’s first round.

Novak Djokovic admitted to feeling his ‘absolute worst’ on court until the doctor’s ‘miracle pills’ restored eased a stomach issue and helped him fight past Alexandre Muller in four sets. The first round clash was delicately poised at one set each when Djokovic asked for the doctor following the third game of the third set.

Novak Djokovic overcame a mysterious stomach ailment to defeat Alexandre Muller 6-1, 6-7 (7-9), 6-2, 6-2 in his Wimbledon first-round match on Centre Court. The seven-time champion cruised through the opening set before experiencing what he described as going from feeling his "absolute best" to his "absolute worst" for approximately 45 minutes during the second set.
