Thousands of people gathered in the heart of downtown Dayton and Troy Saturday with one mission in mind: to speak out against what they feel are the wrongdoings of the Trump administration. The second set of No Kings took place in the Miami Valley and across the nation.
Saturday marked the second round of organized "No Kings" protests after droves of demonstrators protested Trump's military parade held in celebration of the Army's 250th anniversary in June, which coincided with Trump's birthday. The "No Kings" movement accuses Trump of behaving more like a monarch than an elected president.
More than 2,600 No Kings rallies are planned Saturday in cities large and small, organized by hundreds of coalition partners. In Northeast Ohio, they range from Elyria to Akron to Solon.
