The New Orleans Saints have reportedly named rookie Tyler Shough as their starting quarterback for their road game on Sunday at the Los Angeles Rams, per Ian Rapoport of NFL Network.

The team informed Rattler they were making Tyler Shough the starter going forward after a 1-7 start to the season, according to multiple reports. Shough, a 26-year-old rookie out of Louisville, saw his first significant playing time of the season when he replaced an ineffective Rattler during Sunday’s 23-3 loss to the Buccaneers.
