Backing down from its boycott threat, the Pakistan Cricket Board has told the ICC that it is willing to accept the 'Hybrid' model for hosting next year's Champions Trophy provided the world body allows the same arrangement for events to be held in India till 2031.

PCB chairman Mohsin Naqvi hinted at a compromise on the 2025 Champions Trophy hosting model, prioritizing cricket's success while vowing to protect Pakistan's pride and push for equality in India-Pakistan tournament relations.

Naqvi spoke to the Pakistani media on the sidelines of the India-Pakistan clash on Saturday, November 30, during the U-19 Asia Cup at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium.
