The 2025 edition of the Sick New World festival has been cancelled, with organisers citing "unforeseen circumstances". The event was scheduled for 12 April, 2025, in Las Vegas, Nevada. and was due to be headlined by Metallica and Linkin Park.

In a social media post that just went live moments ago, the organizers behind Sick New World announced that next year’s fest has been canceled. Though details explaining why they decided to pull the plug on the whole event are scarce at the moment, the folks behind this shocking reveal offered the following statement:

Sadly, another music festival bites the dust. If you were looking forward to catching Sick New World 2025, you’re out of luck. Yesterday (November 29), Sick New World organizers announced that the event scheduled for next year has officially been canceled due to “unforeseen circumstances” with a post on Instagram (viewable here ).
