Notre Dame will have its hands full tonight defending Army's No. 1 ranked rushing attack, and the Irish will be without All-American defensive tackle Howard Cross III. Notre Dame announced before the game that Cross was ruled out for the game, as was sophomore wide receiver KK Smith.

Notre Dame football gave two crucial injury updates regarding DL Howard Cross III and RB Devyn Ford. The Irish play Army on Saturday.

Third-year tackle Donovan Hinish took Cross’ place for the bulk of the last seven quarters and produced three sacks, including one in the win over Virginia.
