A FIFA Club World Cup spot is on the line for MLS side LAFC and Liga MX’s Club América this spring. FIFA shared initial plans earlier in the year, but the one-game playoff became official this week after the Court of Arbitration for Sport upheld Mexico’s Club Léon's disqualification.

At Lincoln Financial Field, the first match kicks off June 16 at 9 p.m. Five more matches will play out through June 26, with knockout rounds on June 28 and July 4.

The winners of the one-off game will take the place of Club Leon in Group D for the newly-expanded tournament.
