Among the many that have congratulated DeJean on his terrific pick-six and Super Bowl victory is Indiana Fever star Caitlin Clark. Both DeJean and Clark just wrapped up tremendous rookie seasons in their respective sports after playing for the Iowa Hawkeyes.

Cooper DeJean earned the vote from his pick-six off of Kansas City Chiefs QB Patrick Mahomes during the second quarter of Super Bowl LIX. His 38-yard touchdown return put the Eagles up 17-0 and well on their way to hoisting the Lombardi Trophy.

Cooper DeJean isn't the first native Iowan to play in the Super Bowl. However, he joins a small list of Iowans who have scored in the big game.
