Christian McCaffrey's six-word message to Bijan Robinson after SNF game
Robinson and the Falcons will look to get back on track as they face the Miami Dolphins back in Atlanta on Sunday. Kickoff is set for 1 p.m. ET. The Falcons are currently second in the NFC South but could improve to 4-3 with a win over the 1-6 Dolphins in Week 8.
On the season, McCaffrey has 981 yards from scrimmage and six total TDs in seven contests. Despite missing more than two seasons worth of games in his career due to injuries, the former Carolina Panthers star ranks ninth among active NFL players in career rushing yards (6,387) and 10th in career scrimmage yards (10,853).
In late June and early July, Robinson worked out with McCaffrey and his brother Luke McCaffrey, a wide receiver with the Commanders. The 49ers have struggled to run the ball this season, but gashed the Falcons for 174 yards on 39 carries. McCaffrey ran 24 times for 129 yards.
The game will feature a can’t-miss duel between two special running backs, Bijan Robinson and Christian McCaffrey. While McCaffrey is trying to return to his best version, Robinson has emerged as one of the top players in his position.
