Paramount is notifying YouTube TV subscribers that channels including CBS, BET, Comedy Central, MTV and Nickelodeon could go dark on the service.

Ongoing negotiations involving media giant Paramount Global and YouTube TV, owned by Google, could blackout YouTube TV subscribers from watching more than channels including CBS for which KWCH is an affiliate.

"Google is unwilling to agree to reasonable terms" to keep CBS, Comedy Central, MTV and more on its YouTube TV service, the execs say.

Unless YouTube and Paramount come to a last-minute agreement on a new contract, “after February 13, 2025, all Paramount content, including CBS and CBS Sports, will be unavailable on YouTube TV,” according to a YouTube blog post.
