Jeff McNeil and Mark Vientos each hit two of New York's six home runs to back a steady pitching performance by Clay Holmes as the Mets beat the Atlanta Braves 9-2 on Saturday night. The Mets smashed six more home runs on Saturday and Clay Holmes pitched six innings for the first time in more than two months as New York defeated the Braves, 9-2, in Atlanta.

The Mets beat up on Wentz (4-4), scoring six earned runs in only 3 1/3 innings, and continuing the onslaught against right-hander Erick Fedde, with six off of the right-hander. A 20-hit night for the Mets, every hitter in the starting lineup got a hit, including backup catcher Hayden Senger, who went 2-for-5 with a career-high three RBI.
