The Testaments, the sequel series to The Handmaid’s Tale, has cast a major leading role. The upcoming series, based on Margaret Atwood’s 2019 novel, is set 15 years after the events of its predecessor. The novel is narrated by Aunt Lydia, a character from the previous novel; Agnes, a woman living in Gilead; and Daisy, from Canada.
