Different story, same outcome for Auburn versus Missouri
On Saturday night, it was a different story for Auburn but the same outcome. In Auburn’s 23-17 double overtime defeat to Missouri, they were unable to take advantage of the opportunities and lost their fourth consecutive game. Just like last week, the crowd at Jordan-Hare Stadium was ready to celebrate a win.
Per Pete Nakos of On3, there is movement going on behind the scenes at Auburn. Boosters are holding informal conversations about Feeze's future with the program. However, the Tigers may wait until after the regular season ends to make a final decision.
After both teams missed field goals in the first overtime, Beau Pribula’s 3-yard touchdown run in the second period gave Missouri (6-1, 2-1 SEC) the lead for good. Auburn (3-4, 0-4) then turned the ball over on downs to end the game.
