The New Orleans Saints are thin at running back with Devin Neal and Alvin Kamara each dealing with injuries entering Week 16.
With rookie Devin Neal (hamstring) already ruled out for Sunday's game against the New York Jets and veteran Alvin Kamara still not practicing with a knee injury, New Orleans has signed running back Nyhiem Hines to the practice squad, sources with knowledge of the situation confirmed.

Kamara missed yet another practice on Wednesday, having been sidelined with knee/ankle injuries since going down during the club's loss to the Atlanta Falcons on Nov. 23. The Saints were also without running back Devin Neal (hamstring), wide receiver Devaughn Vele (shoulder), and offensive linemen Cesar Ruiz (ankle) and Asim Richards (ankle).
The New Orleans Saints have been relatively healthy this season. But the injury bug might finally be catching up to them.
