The national capital woke up to ‘very poor’ air quality again today. Delhi’s Air Quality Index (AQI) at 8 am was recorded at 311 which is a slight improvement from Saturday’s AQI 351. The most polluted place was Shadipur with 366 AQI followed by Mundka with 360 AQI.

According to the Air Quality Early Warning System for Delhi, the AQI is likely to be in the "very poor" category for the next three days.

Delhi witnessed an average AQI of 375 in the month of November, with 303 being the lowest. The air quality in the national capital remained in the ‘very poor’ or worse category throughout the month.

Delhi's 24-hour average AQI was recorded at 346 at 4 pm on Saturday, marking a slight rise from 331 recorded on Friday.
